Hosted by legendary MC Kimo Kahoano, longtime MC of the Merrie Monarch and former KCCN DJ,  this show is a MUST SEE featuring the amazing voice of Pomaika`i Lyman, joined by her daughter Maile Lyman and dad Eric Keawe. Our very special guests all the way from Maui will be the Hoopi’i Ohana who will share hula and stories.

Pōmaika’i Lyman is a Hawaiian Music Entertainer, Educator & Administrator, Event Producer and former Mrs. Hawai’i (2016).  She is a graduate of Punahou School and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where she obtained a BS in Economics.   She is married to Shane Lyman, owner of Hawai’i Elite Athletic Training, and together they have 4 children between the ages of 10 and 15.  Pomaika’i enjoys working with youth in Hawaiian-focused charter and Hawaiian language immersion schools.  She is able to do this through non-profit organizations such as Mana Maoli and the Genoa Keawe Foundation.  She served as a director for the annual Ho’omau Benefit, the only event to gather all the Hawaiian Language Immersion schools on Oahu, for 7 years. As the descendant of a Hawaiian music legend, Pomaika’i continues to pave her own career path while perpetuating the legacy left behind by her grandmother, Genoa Keawe.

The proceeds for this fundraising concert goes to help costs of Saichi Kawahara’s services.  He meant so much to so many and because of him and his works, Hawaiian music and culture thrives in The Bay and beyond.

Dinner plates can be purchased separately day of, prepared by producer/ culinary creator Patrick Landeza.
